SK188 Resetter

This new chip resetter will reset the cartridge chips on the Epson 4000, 4800, 7600, 7800, 7880, 9600, 9800, 9880, 10000, 10600 WIDE FORMAT printers.

It has a feedback light that indicates when a reset is successful, the LED will flash green. The battery is good for thousands of resets and they are easily replaced. All batteries are included.

The chips are reset without changing the Epson identification on the chip. The printers can not detect that an external chip resetter was used. There is no limit to the number of times a chip can be reset.

This Wide Format Chip Restter will only reset the chips on the Epson 7600/9600/10000 cartridges or waste ink counter. It will not reset any of the chips on the desktop printers. To reset desktop printer chips use the SK168 chip resetter.

When you are attempting to do a reset, the LED will light up and flash about 3-4 seconds. If the LED turned green, it means the resetting operation has been successfully completed and the chip is in a good state. If the LED turns red, or does not flash, this is an indication that the chip you are trying to reset is either corrupted or damaged.

If the LED turned red or did not flash it may be...

a) The pins are not making good contact with the chip.
b) The battery in the resetter has come loose or is expired.
c) The cartridge chip is corrupted or damaged.
