In order to ship using FedEx or UPS outside of the United States, we require that you have your own personal or
business account. Place your account number on the check out order form as indicated.
If you do not have either a FedEx or UPS account number, here is how to go about getting one. They are available
to anyone, all that is needed is a valid credit card.
There is no service charge for having these accounts. You will only be charged if you use them for shipping a package.
For every package that is shipped by using your account number, you will receive detailed information on who sent the package,
where it came from, how much it weighed and what the cost was.
It is a handy thing to have, you will find more uses for it than you thought. If you feel that you are being overcharged
for shipping, just tell them to use your account and not to charge you for any shipping or handling. When your documentation
is received from UPS or FedEx, you will see the true shipping costs.
Instructions for getting a FedEx Account - (print a copy of this for reference)
- Click on the above image to get to the FedEx site.
- Click on the No Discount Option.
- Click on Apply Now.
- Click on SIGN UP NOW on the right. Ignore the ID and PW request on the left.
- Fill in the requested information. Make up an ID for yourself (try first name and last name together, like FIRSTLAST).
- Click on "I Accept" at the bottom right.
- Finish filling in the extra information. Click at bottom to finish.
- FedEx will respond with your new account number. Write it down, along with your ID and PW and keep in safe place.
Instructions for getting a UPS Account - (print a copy of this for reference)
- Click on the above image to get to the UPS site.
- Click on REGISTER, ignore the request for ID and PW in the brown section.
- Read the Terms and Conditions, then click on ACCEPT at the end.
- Fill in the Contact information requested and click on CONTINUE.
- Fill in User ID and Password, then click on CONTINUE.
- Click on SUBMIT at bottom right. Be patient here. It may take a couple of minutes. It should return you to the screen shown
below.
- Click on OPEN A UPS ACCOUNT.
- At the bottom of the next page, click on OPEN A UPS ACCOUNT TODAY. The screen shown below will appear.
- Fill this screen in as shown, and click on CONTINUE.
- Select Occasional Account. This is very important, or you will get weekly service charges. Click CONTINUE after
selecting Occasional Account.
- Enter account location. This should be the same address where your credit card bills are received. Your Home, most likely.
Check the "Same As" box, and then click on CONTINUE.
- Fill in the billing information and click on CONTINUE.
- Fill in the credit card information and click on CONTINUE.
- Verify that the account information is correct and click on SUBMIT.
- UPS will respond with your new account number. Write it down, along with your ID and PW and keep in safe place.
If you have problems with the site responding, it may be because FedEx or UPS systems are browser sensitive. Use MSIE for best results.
