Having Trouble with CFS Cartridge Tubes?
If you are having difficulty with the tubes on your CFS cartridge getting caught, please
look at this page for a solution.
This is what the tubes on your cartridge should look like. Notice that the color tubes are
separated only about an inch back from the nozzles. The black tube is separated about twice
that far.
If your tubes look like this, you probably have a problem. This is what causes your tubes
to get caught
This is the solution. Wrap tape (we use electrical tape)
around the tubes so that they are held together about one inch from the nozzles.
Following this problem, we redesigned the way the CFS units are assembled. We now bond a
clear tube clip to the top of the cartridge. All tubes go through this clip. When the tubes
exit the cartridge, they are webbed together. The tube clip takes all the strain away from the
fittings and it prevents the above problems from ever happening again.
