ICC Profiles for MIS Color Archival Inks

The profile library will eventually consist of all the commonly used paper and printer
combinations used with MIS Archival Inks. It will take some time and
effort for us to get all of the possible profiles completed. The ones that are now
available are shown below. Please click on this link for updated instruction to install

Using a profile is a quick way to start making archival prints that have accurate
colors. Without a profile, the print will look flat and a muted. There are
ways to manually adjust the colors to match what you see on the screen. It can be
done with the advanced printer driver settings or within Photoshop. The manual process is
not simple. Only those experienced in using the intricate details of Photoshop should
attempt making manual adjustments to the colors in Photoshop. The full version of
Photoshop (ver 5.5 or higher) is required to apply ICC profiles.

Download the profile by clicking on the profile number in the left column. Save it
in a file folder that you will be able to find later. The download contains a zip file
with the profile in it. To expand the zip file you will need
WinZip for PC's or
Stuffit for Mac's. A free trial version of these programs are available
from the websites referenced.
