Variable EZ Ultratone Ink Sets Available
These ink sets print using the Epson driver and are NOT complicated to use. They are variable tone inks, capable of
making sepia, warm, neutral or cool Black and White prints, all with the same inks, without changing cartridges. Neutral or
warm prints can be achived by adjusting the sliders on the Epson driver. To print sepia or cool prints, Photoshop
adjustment curves are required. See workflow page

New B&W Inks for the Epson 2000P
If you have an Epson 2000P printer you are not using, consider making it into your Black & White printer. This question was put to use by David Brooks of Shutter Bug magazine. We converted his 2000P into a great little B&W printer using our new UT-FS and UT-FSN inks. With the introduction of the Ultratone inks, we were compelled to upgrade our older Quadtone FS and FSN inks to the new high fade resistance Ultratone technology. It was easy for the four color printers. UT-FS and UT-FSN are direct replacments for the older FS and FSN Quadtone inks using the Epson driver. For the six color inks, Paul Roark found that the 4 inks in the set would work in a six color printer if they were positioned properly. The positioning Paul used is C M C M Y. This configuration works great in the 2000P and 1280 printers using the Epson driver. For more information click here... We are currently building cartridges for the 2000P. | More on the UT-FS and UT-FSN Inks | |
| With this issue we are announcing 2 New ink sets, our Ultratone Full Spectrum and Ultratone Full
Spectrum Neutral ink sets. These inks will take the place of the older Quadtone FS and FSN inks.
Coming shortly in January, we will have the bulk inks and prefilled cartridges for the 1160, 1280, 2000P, and 7500 on the website. There will not be an "E" version as we had in the Quadtone FS/FSN inksets. For six color printers this ink will use the following configuration, C M C M Y with the Magenta installing in the Light Cyan position and Light Magenta position and Cyan in both the Cyan and Magenta position. These inks are designed for use with the Epson driver. | |
| These new inks will also mean the end of the older Quadtone ink cartridges. We will continue to sell the older Quadtone inks in BULK ONLY. |
| R800 Ink Update |
|
As some of you may already know, our R800 inks do not have as much gloss as the Epson inks do. As a result we
stopped selling our R800 CFS units until further development could be completed. Many customers have stated that
the inks are great and produce a semi-gloss look. However, we could not accept the return of a complete CFS unit
if the customer did not like the gloss level.
Our chemists have been hard at work and we hope to have a very high gloss option in the near future. We are still selling the R800 ink for matte paper or semi-gloss usage. Our competitors both here and in China are also struggling with a gloss issues. Some of our B&W customers have found a clever use for the R800 Gloss Optimizer. They apply it by over printing it on to a finished black and white print. See details at the bottom of the R800 ink page. |

We have updated our Clearance Center with hundreds of products that are being discontinued or are nearing the end of their shelf life. There are limited quantities, and sales are first come first serve. As the items are sold out, we will remove them from the listing. These items are being sold as is without warranty, there are no refunds or returns available. Replacements may be offered while supplies last. We will not be offering tech support for these products. | We are phasing the PermaJet paper line from our inventory. Look for ridiculously low pricing on the remaining inventory. Our remaining stock is located in the Clearance Center. |

| F16 Chip Resetter Clearance |
| With newer auto reset chips the F16 Chip Resetter is not required, but for those of you with the older style "Smart Chips", it is the only way to reuse your cartridges. We have both US and UK F16's, but our supplies are limited and we will not be restocking these items after they are sold out. Why not pick up an extra? We are slashing this price again to clear the shelves. The unit is now only $4.00 while supplies last. And the UK power supply is only $2.00. |

| PremierArt Hot Press is a 2 sided smooth matte finish paper recommended by Paul Roark for black
& white prints using MIS Ultratone inks. It is highly archival and is great for color photos,
post cards, calling cards, announcements, art work, and has an excellent D-Max and color gamut.
This paper is acid free, and does not have Optical Brighteners. It is 2% archival buffered for added protection against contaminants, and is specially coated to provide intense color density and photographic image clarity. This paper has a Wilhelm dark storage rating of over 200 years. | |
