Canon has added chips to these cartirdges as most of you know. Refilling these cartridges causes an error to appear indicating that the cartridge is not an original Canon. The Canon printer manual addresses this error indicating that you the user can continue to print but that you will loose the ability to have the system monitor your ink levels. This is the trade off with these printers and refilling the Canon cartridges.

We have refilled our iP4200 cartridges over 5 times and continue to print without any difficulties. Installing new Canon OEM cartridges reactivates the ink monitor.

O-Jet heat transfer paper is manufactured for use on light or dark colored Cotton Blend, 100% Cotton, and Synthetic fabrics. Cartoon characters and other brilliant images jump to life.

MIS O-Jet, Opaque Heat Transfer Paper, is available in 8.5" x 11" size and works great with commercial heat presses, we do not recommend this paper for use as an Iron on Transfer. We have produced a number of transfers with our Clam Press and the results are impressive.

We recommend our Perpetual Archival ink for use with this paper and transfer method. The pressing process can produce a glossy finish or matte finish depending on whether or not a silicone sheet is used. Details on the heat transfer process can be obtained by reading the Opaque Transfer Paper Instructions.

We have begun to publish a series of videos to help with the use of our products. We plan to add to our video library over the next few months. Currently we have video clips that show the cartridge refill process for Canon and some Epson printer style virgin empty cartridges. We have a clip that shows the use of a vacuum pump for filling CFS units. We also have video that shows the use of the SK168 chip resetter and our recommended chip replacement process.

We frequently have customers contact us asking about waterproof inks or waterproof papers. Inkjet printers use a waterbase ink, and as such they are inherently NOT waterproof. But this paper is simply amazing. The link below will show a short video of the Via Stone paper and even with dyebase inks, reveals an amazing resistance to water. With pigmented inks there is virtually no bleeding.

One of our very newest products is the Hornet, a Wide Format Cartridge filling machine for the Epson 4000, 7600 and 9600 style cartridges. This machine is electric and can fill about 120 - 110 ml cartridges per hour.

Paul Roark has created a new MIS Black & White Inkset, UT-3D. This inkset is designed for use with ICC Profiles instead of Photoshop Curves, so that paper profiles can be easily made. Its unique three dimensional color space is derived from the nature of carbon pigments, the traditional B&W tones, and the universal Lab color space. It works on matte and glossy papers. It is an alternative to using UT7.
