MCC80-PLUS Refill Kit

New Clear Empty Cartridges-
This is the new (3/1/05) version of the C80, C82, 2200, 960 cartridge from our supplier.
It is easy to refill. Simply remove the fill plug from the top of the cart in the reservoir section, and add ink until full.
See Refill Procedure for details.
These only come in the Empty configuration. The prefilled carts shown below are Chinese Aftermarket Carts and they have
a different construction than the refill friendly empties.

What's Inside-
The design of the cartridge is very simple. There is a vented sponge in the left section and a ink
reservoir in the right section. Ink from the reservoir keeps the sponge wet. The ink flows through the "ink gate" to
get to the sponge section. When the printer extracts ink from the cartridge, it must pass through the 1 micron filter to
reach the printer. Air enters the sponge section at the top to prevent a vacuum or negative pressure from building up
inside the cartridge. There is a poppet valve just above the seal to prevent air from entering the cartridge when the cart is
removed from the printer.

Note:The black ink in these cartridges is our Universal Black. It will print on glossy or matte finish papers.
