Refilling 4000, 7600 and 9600 cartridges is now possible. Below you will find all the items
needed to do the refilling. We have not bundled them into a refill kit. The reason is
we don't know what equipment you have to start with and if you will need fresh empties
or not.
You will need to have the following items to complete a 4000/7600/9600 refill. Read the
instructions before you buy everything.
- (1) Wide format chip resetter SK188
- (1) 60 cc Syringe and MIS Fill Adapter
- (1) MIS UltraChrome equivalent inkset (4 oz or Pint)
- (1) Empty or Original 7600/9600 cartridge set
- (1) Refill Instructions
- (1) Pony Clamp (optional)
We do not show all of this as a refill kit, because once you have everything needed, then all you
have to do is buy the ink. The cost of a 7600 refill is basically $18 and the cost of a 9600
refill is $36. This is significant savings. These cartridges, unlike the 3000, 7000, 9000
cartridges can be used over and over. There is no rubber septum to wear out.

| MISPRO Ultrachrome Equivalent Ink
MISPRO Ink -
This is what we recommend as the equivalent of the Epson Ultrachrome Ink. It is the new enhanced version of our
MIS 7600 ink previously recommended. Click here for more info.
How Many Refills -
The 110 ML cartridges use almost all of a 4 oz (125 ML) bottle for one refill. The larger
220 ML cartridges use twice as much, or 2 four oz bottles. A pint bottle of MIS ink contains enough ink for
2 refills of a 220 ML cartridge. A gallon is 8 pints. Click on the blue part number to buy.

Note 1: To avoid confusion with the 4 different black inks, pay attention to the last couple of letters of the blue part number.
K = Matte Eboni Black, MK = Universal Matte Black, PK = Photo Black, and LK = Light Black.
All inksets contain Light Black (LK). We offer three different ink inksets above, each with a different black.
Note 2: Universal Black (MK) is a hybrid ink that is available for those who do not want to change from Matte Black
to Photo black when changing from matte paper to glossy paper. However, the Universal Black does have some dye in it
and is not as archival as the matte black or photo black inks.
